10 Jul Chriss Molello named Vice President of Sales & Marketing
WorldWater & Solar Technologies, Inc. proudly welcomes Chriss Molello to their Princeton-based team as the Vice President of Sales & Marketing. Molello brings over 20 years of top-producing sales and product development experience in the renewable energy industry working for Fortune 500 solar manufacturers, including General Electric, BP Solar, and AstroPower. He has sold solar systems across the US, including prominent customers such as Jay Leno and Universal Studios.
In his role as Western Regional Sales Manager at General Electric, Molello managed high visibility commercial project sales, contributed to product design, and developed distribution networks globally. At GE Solar, he was Top North American sales manager for 6 years, with annual sales of $9 million. During his tenure at AstroPower as North American Sales Manager, Molello increased sales by 63% during the early development of the grid connected solar market. In 2000, He was a key contributor in the development of the first packaged systems and sales channel strategies for the residential grid-connected market. Molello has also developed business in 7countries, in 12 different markets around the globe.
WorldWater’s rapid growth is supported and fueled by Molello’s vast experience in the solar industry in both marketing as well as in product development. At WorldWater, Molello’s chief responsibilities include growing large commercial project sales on the foundation of WorldWater’s 30+ years. He is also focused on the expansion of their mobile clean water products into disaster relief, military and developing country markets. In addition, Molello plans to increase the agriculture market utilizing WorldWater’s proprietary technology that drive up to 600 HP water pumps directly with solar power.
