11 Oct National Defense University Selects WorldWater as Lead Integrator
National Defense University and Office of Secretary of Defense (OSD) has selected WorldWater to serve as the Lead Integrator for the PEAK (Prepositioned Expeditionary Assistance Kits) Program, utilizing WorldWater’s RAMP (Rapid Advanced MaxPure®) as the foundation for the PEAK kit. The program is intended to promote security and enhance stability within geographic areas of responsibility which are constrained by a limited capacity for enabling scalable critical services during time-sensitive Humanitarian Assistance and/or Disaster Response (HA/DR) events. As part of the role of Lead Integrator, WorldWater will lead the demonstration and transition of an array of capabilities for field distributed essential services including potable water, power, communications and situational awareness. The ensuing kits will provide effective, low-cost and sustainable crisis services that support and build a key capacity in partner nations to promote security and stability in the theater.
